So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:6-7)

one2one is a ministry of Boston Harbor Community Church for youth (ages 12-high school graduation). Everyone is welcome. Come if you want to find out who this Jesus is, or if you want to know more about Jesus or if you want to know Jesus more.

Every ministry is driven by something. There is always some guiding force that determines the direction and goals for the individual or the group. Unless the driving force behind a church is biblical, the health and growth of the church will never be what God intended. Strong churches are not built on programs, personalities, or gimmicks. They are built on the eternal purposes of God. That is the foundation of our youth ministry as well. Everything we do in our ministry revolves around the five purposes of the church.

The Five Purposes

• ‘Go and make disciples’ / Evangelism
• ‘Baptizing them’ / Fellowship
• ‘Teaching them to obey’ / Discipleship
• ‘Love your neighbor as yourself; / Ministry
• ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart’ / Worship
